Against the backdrop of an ancient land consumed by slavery, the beautiful Princess Kahina hides a forbidden love for Mohammed, a handsome young slave.
Mohammed and his fellow slaves have been violently kidnapped from their village home by the evil Slave Master General, Titus. Under orders from the evil Queen Habiba, Titus now drives them mercilessly to complete building the stricken Queen's ceremonial burial chamber ahead of her imminent demise.
Meanwhile, the village of Medlawa still mourn for their enslaved brethren. Spurred on by the passionate Sara, the villagers vow to somehow lead an uprising and free their kin. Sara holds a burning love for her childhood sweetheart Mohammed, and it is he she looks to for inspiration during her secret visits to the slave quarters.
Young Princess Kahina is desperate to escape from the constraints of her breeding, yet her manipulative mother, though in worsening health, has arranged the marriage of her only child, to the mighty Titus.
Titus hides a secret desire to control the princess and thereby achieve power throughout the land, so he hungers for this marriage to be conducted without delay.
But Titus harbours another secret, so terrible that it is set to rock the very foundation of the land!
Who can save the princess, return the people to the land and return the land to the people?
